World Radio Day 2014!!
Hello! If you have been anywhere near my Twitter Profile you'd know that I'm a few tweets from being a spammer! Clearly I'm excited! Right??! The theme for World Radio Day is about Gender Equality and Women Empowerment on and through Radio!
Being a FEMALE Radio Presenter/Producer you can see how this is exciting. Here's +Christiane Amanpour from +CNN talking about why today is such a big deal !

When I had hopes and fantasies of our flag being flown high and proud at the 20014 Olympics; never in my wildest ones could I have imagined our place would be in the +Sochi 2014 Winter Games . At 20 years-old +Harare born +luke steyn is our Representative for this year's Winter Olympics. This guy was born in Zimbabwe, but spent the rest of his childhood in the Eurozone and yet he still chooses to represent us.
Go all political if you like, I'm taking the road to Happy Town with this one. Well done Luke you should do us ALL proud! And if you do great , who knows what could happen *wink*.
All foolishness aside let's Tweet, Facebook & Google+ our support to the kid, after all this makes Zimbabwe the third African country to make it for the games this year.
P.S did you know instead of being called second last in the Ceremony we got called as 26th?! If that's not a good sign I don't know what is!
